Local Commercial Property Featured in National Magazine

Quaglino Properties recently recognized for work in Metal Architecture

San Luis Obispo, CA— Qualino Properties was recently highlighted in the September issue of Metal Architecture, a national trade magazine that caters to architects and design professionals. Quaglino was recognized for their work at San Luis Obispo building complex, Ricardo Court Industrial. Quaglino Properties is the owner and builder, and Quaglino Roofing the installer for the project.

The goal for the project was to create a flexible, low maintenance, light industrial complex that could be functional for a wide variety of possible tenants. The design concept was to create a theme that recalled historic factory aesthetics in a modern form. Also featured in the article, Steven D. Pults of AIA & Associates LLP, served as the architect for the project. To view the article online, visit http://www.metalarchitecture.com/Default.aspx?PublicationID=3&ArticleID=2554

“It is very rewarding to have one of our projects honored in a national magazine,” said Quaglino Properties Managing Member, Matt Quaglino. “When the manufacturer’s sales representative asked if he could submit the project I was honored. The Ricardo Court development is very unique with the use of both materials and colors, and it most definitely stands out from the typical concrete block warehouse.”

James A. Quaglino founded Quaglino Roofing in San Luis Obispo in 1922. The company works statewide on commercial, industrial and residential projects. Quaglino Properties, LLC, was created in 1987 and specializes in development, construction, leasing, maintenance and management of Quaglino-owned properties.
