Rotary de Tolosa Welcomes New Officers and Board of Directors

Service Club announces new Officers and Directors for the 2010-2011 year

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA — The Rotary Club of San Luis Obispo de Tolosa welcomed the club’s new Officers and Directors on July 7 for the 2010-2011 year. This year’s President Jeff Buckingham will continue the prior year’s focus on collaboration between the three San Luis Obispo Rotary Clubs that led to the creation of the city’s new Community Garden, located at Meadow Park on South St.

Rotary de Tolosa strives to build connections both within the community and internationally. The club was founded with the focus on supporting the youth of the San Luis Obispo community and, in 2009-2010 alone, gave out more than $15,000 in grants to local organizations that support programs and activities for local youth.
